Sadly, my grandfather has passed away, and now it is my father's duty to take his place. However, I unknowingly committed a grave mistake: the sword necessary for my dad to defeat Maeve has become magically bound to me instead. Consequently, Dad has been captured and is now being held captive by Maeve. She plans to use him as bait to lure the remaining members of the White Branch, leading to their demise. I blame myself entirely for this situation, and it rests on my shoulders to fix it.

To rectify the dire circumstances, I must locate the hidden entrance to the Otherworld, infiltrate Maeve's fortress, rescue my father, and escape before the traitor within the White Branch opens the door for Maeve's forces to invade our world. Offering his assistance, Maeve's exiled son has promised to guide me to the entrance, but only if I assist him in return. I am aware that he cannot be trusted, but I am in desperate need of all the help I can get. Our goal is to successfully rescue my dad and imprison Maeve indefinitely in the Otherworld. Failure would mean death for all of us or a fate worse than death at Maeve's hands.
